KQEMU in Proxmox?

Does or can Proxmox VE take advantage of KQEMU to make the VMs in KVM run faster? I would love to get faster performance from Windows guests, have set everything up according to all the directions provided, including the c:\boot.ini mod in Windows because I'm running Opteron. But the benchmarks though KVM/Proxmox vs. bare metal OS on same server are substantially different.

I would appreciate any tips that would help speed performance on the KVM side.

KVE is a kernel module (like KQEMU). I do not think you gain anything from KQEMU.

What kind of benchmark do you use?

Also, kqemu will be removed from Qemu soon (or maybe it's removed now) - as it is "unmaintainable" (nee kvm/qemu-devel lists for details).
