Kernel drivers for DVB-T/2 devices

Hi horizn,

Seeing there is no reply yet,
work with Proxmox kernel or such as drivers are removed
What do you mean by "drivers removed"?

From the referred site:

Making it Work

Firmware

Requires dvb-demod-si2168-b40-01.fw, this is available through OpenELEC dvb-firmware repository

Drivers

Included in Linux Kernel v4.8. All 4 tuners working, able to watch TV.
Is your question, "Are those modules that were available in Linux 4.8 still available in 6.x" ?

For your benefit I ran

# modprobe cx23885
on a PVE8 node, and, after a fraction of a second, got no error.

You did not mention your Proxmox version, but seeing the drivers got introduced with Linux 4.8 and still are available on 6.2, I'd say nothing stands between you and your TV ;-)

yes, that was my question because Proxmox is not running on stock Debian kernel so maybe someone removed this branch to make it smaller.
