Hey Guys,

We are in the process of trying out proxmox before buying licenses and i am sad to report that we are having some issues that i can not seem to get to the bottom of. cPanel

My issues are as follows:

1) Backups on one of our cPanel web servers is not only crashing the VM during and after the backup but also taking like 5+ hours to complete the backup
2) Vmware importer fails (after 30+ hours) to import any vm with a hard disk lets say 2TB in size.
3) Kernel issues. All of our 3 "nodes" are currently running the second latest release. We are unable to use the latest kernel (which i am sure may fix these issues above) as services do not start during boot.

Proxmox is a really good piece of software and i was really excited to be moving across to it, but the issues issues are causing me to pull my hair out.

** It is important to note that the CPU is spiking. cPanel also said that it seemed that the disk was being thrashed. I have checked the raid for disk failures as well as watched the physical disk I/o and its not solid... i have seen it alot worse when with vmware.
