kernel 5.5 chip XID 54a

After various trials to install Proxmox VE 6.1.2 I noticed a problem with the chip xid 54a only supported from kernel 5.5. Is there any solution or have I to abandon my project (what I would deplore)?

Hi,

The chip you're talking about is a realtek network chip, I'd guess? Please try to be more specific about such requests, there a billions of different chips

Also, a quick search makes it seem that this would be quite straight forward to backport to our upcomming 5.4 based Kernel:
