Kernel 2.6.24 proxmox 1.5 hangs with AMD X2 BE-2400 , works with 2.6.32 [SOLVED]

Hi Proxmox....

Due to problems with my INTEL server i'm trying with my spare AMD , it works
fine with kernel 2.6.18 but with 2.6.24 it hangs....

Does anybody have seen this problem ????

Hi chronos....

Seems to work with kernel 2.6.32 the newest one....

Do you have managed to get cool'n'quiet working ????

I have it enabled in the bios but it doesn't work :-(

I have solved the problem with cool'n'quiet...

in /etc/modules i added
powernow-k8

the reboot

Now i got the following...

cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep MHz
cpu MHz : 1000.000
cpu MHz : 1000.000
