Kaby Lake CPU Type missing?

Hi,

I have two hosts in a pve cluster
One with a Kaby Lake i7-7700T CPU.
One with a Kaby Lake i5-7500T CPU
I'd like to be able to migrate between these hosts
I'd like to have the optimum performance and CPU features available to VM's by setting the closest CPU type for each VM.

Can anyone recommend the closest CPU match for VM's (Maybe something Sky Lake??)

Hi,
yes, according to Wikipedia, the microarchitecture for Kaby Lake is Skylake (stated in the info side bar). But you could also just use CPU type host.

I'll try both and see how I go.
I think Kaby Lake has GPU enhancements beyond Skylake, although I have no current plan to use them
