Join new node to existing cluster with TFA enabled

I am attempting to join a new node to my existing cluster. When I copy the fingerprint information, enter the root password, I get the following error. I realize the issue is I have TFA enabled on the root account. However what is the best way to add a new node without removing the TFA?

There is no need to "remove" 2FA as there is an enable/disable checkbox. So you could temporarily disable root 2FA while joining that new node via GUI.
