I have 2 ProxMox 5.0 machines in a cluster environment. My first host has all of my LXC machines while my second host has my Windows machines. I have a NFS storage setup on a separate FreeNAS box. I am not able to backup my LXC machines to the NFS storage box. I have the backup process schedule and I have tried it manually and they fail everytime. The Windows box backs up just fine.

Below is the log from one of my LXC machines.

INFO: starting new backup job: vzdump 110 --remove 0 --node gmc-vhost-01 --storage GMC-NAS-01 --compress lzo --mode stop

TASK ERROR: job errors

The NAS has plenty of storage space on it. I can run machines off the NAS and like I said the Windows VM backs up to it just fine. Any ideas?

Thanks!

looks like a permission problem on you NFS.
