[SOLVED] Issues with installation freezing

I'm trying to get proxmox 5.2-1 to install on a machine I peice together out of parts I had laying around. The install keeps freezing at one spot or another, particularly around 66-68% through the install.

part list is

amd fx-8300
ASUS crosshair v formula -z AM3+
16gb of corsair xms3 ddr3 1333
sapphire nitro+ rx 480 GPU
Sentey metal blade 1000w PSU
4x wd 80gb blue.

When I have had freezes during install it was related to hardware error. Most of the times with RAM.
Do 24h memory test first to rule out bad RAM.
