Hi!
Today one of my lab mashines stoped working, what can I do with this error? I had preety valuable data on this server so I would like to recover it. It seems like disk is working (from hardware point) but some kind of logic error striked.

Your drive appears to be failing. Boot a Linux Live CD/USB and try mounting the filesystem(s) on it in read-only mode. Or just dd the raw data for recovery to another drive.

Might be easier to replace the drive (under warranty?) and recover from backups, which I assume you have if the data is valuable.

I've had most of the data backed up to PBS but one single service cannot be backed up as it needs to run 24/7 and PBS caused some issues on the way while backing it up :/

I have ordered the new disk and would replace it and send this one to warranty service I had simmilar issue before and recovered the data via dd but lost the guide. I have standard lvm (main proxmox data storage) and lvm-thin pool for the VM's and CT's, how to enter the lvm-thin and recover the .raw or any other type of the data format that I would be able to restore on working pve instance?

Thank you for your help!
Files are safe 'n sound and disk demounted - goin' to warranty.

This thread preety much helped if anyone would have simmilar issue (logic disk failure) you can mount lvm-thin partitions in easy way by using kpartx.

This one is solved :)
