Issue with Start/Shutdown order in pve

Hello,

I've got two VMs VM100 and VM101.
VM100 has Start/Shutdown Order=1 StartupDelay=300
VM101 has Start/Shutdown Order=2
Expected behaviour: VM101 will be shut down first, then VM100. When starting VM100 will be started first, wait 300s and then VM101 will be started.

When starting a backup to PBS (mode stop), the above sequence is not observed: VM100 is shutdown first and then VM101.

Is the order only applicable if the PVE-host shutdown/starts and not when backuping?
Is there a possibility to force sequences on stop backups?

The order is indeed only for PVE (bulk start/stop) and not PBS. You could make separate backup schedules. Or use a hookscript to start 101 some time after 100 (post-start) and shutdown 101 before 100 (pre-stop): https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#_hookscripts (does not need to be Perl, can be any executable script language).

I will use separate Backup schedules for such a small setup.
