Hi,

I have increased the CORE 4 to 12 on the proxmox for a windows vServer 2016, but it did not reflect in the server. Even I have decreased it to 1 and then increased it to 15 but still it only increased upto 4. Please help .

Thank you in advance!!

How many cores/sockets does your WIndows Server 2016 installation/license support? Showing the VM configuration file might also help others to help you.

Hi leesteken,

I am not that sure but I think it is 2 sockets and 16 cores. if you guide me how/where to view these details than I will provide you correct details.

Hi leesteken,

is there any solution? Please help!!

I really don't get the problem and I cannot replicate it. I just increased the cores per socket from 2 to 8 and it works like a charm:
