Hi,

I have an environment with a FreeNAS 11 and Xenserver 7. FreeNAS provides me with iSCSI which is recognized and properly configured on Xenserver.

I want to migrate from Xenserver to Proxmox, but I don't know how to handle the iSCSI disk, because the creation process indicates the creation of a virtual disk on both Xenserver and Proxmox.

How do I proceed in this case?

Thanks,

If you have enough space it would maybe be a good idea to:
* create a new LUN on FreeNAS
* export it to PVE
* create a LVM storage on top of it
* migrate all of your guests from Xenserver to PVE (by backup+restore)

that way your current setup won't be touched and you can always start again if something does not work out

I hope this helps!

Hello Stoiko,

I already have a LUN with data and I want create a new Linux VM.
My objective is attach a existing LUN (iSCSI) to new CentOS VM.

Thanks,
