I've tried to install Nexentastor CE 5 to use ISCSI over ZFS on enterprise solution.
But.... I've discovered that Nexentastore release 5 has removed root account, low level access (on Nexentastor release 4 is possible to access low level command by a trik).

I've tried to call the support: "yes, root access and low level command access has been removed on version 5, because we have powered API's".

I think that the solution to use Nexentastor is to use Nexenta API's and not to try to use low level command in console through ssh.

you can write your own storage API plugin (or find someone to write one for you or check if there is an existing third-party plugin).

We have done that in the past, but their API was really clumsy and slow ...
