Hi,

I looking for some help, i hope somoene could help me.

We have a SAN, we have configure LUN.
We have 2 proxmox server with a cluster, on the master we send a target we have some error but finally the LUN are correctly reconize.

We configure lvm, with a pvscan, pvcreate, we create 2 volum group and 2 logical volum AND we declare on proxmox(master) the lv as a local directory(via the web gui) (we have mount the device before).
First, could somoene can tell me if this is a good way to do?

What is the good way to use LUN on promox ?

Thanks

Thanks, i'have already read this page.

But that doesn't respond to me, is it a problem for proxmox to declare a lvm lv as a local directory?

Also, i'm trying different things. I try the wiki way (join the san, create lvm group and associate this one with a LUN).

If i create a virtual machine, this one become a LV on my VG, is it possible to extend the VG(created with web gui)? with another LUN?

Also, can i extend the lv (my virtual machine)? with a standard lvm command.
