Hi, I tried to connect my Dell Equallogic storage through iscsi, but it can not connect

Here is my configuration
iscsi: mynas
portal 10.10.10.1
target iqn.2001-05.com.equallogic:0-1cb196-8c6731c0a-922006f4a7e65ae8-proxmox
content none

I tried through GUI but it did not show up the target after input the ip. Can anyone help me how to connect my iscsi/

Thanks

when

iscsiadm -m discovery -t st -p 10.10.10.1

Did you properly configure the Equallogic side? Added the PVE initiator where necessary? Create a portal group, if needed.
Is the IP address reachable? Your post is a bit light on details.
Check the log (journalctl -n 500), run "pvesm status" for potentially additional error information. Check storage vendor documentation for appropriate configuration.

Good luck

I added the Dell Equallogic using iscsi but when I check the volume size from host it is showing 0

Here is my config

iscsi: proxmox
portal x.x.x.x
target iqn.2001-05.com.equallogic:0-1cb196-810731c0a-0b98fa9779a65b14-proxmox
content none

iscsi: proxmox2
portal x.x.x.x
target iqn.2001-05.com.equallogic:0-1cb196-91d731c0a-c6d8fa9779f65b14-proxmox2
content none

Also when I go to storage status, it is showing Active no

I have attached the picture. Can anyone help me please?
Thanks

The question marks indicate an issue connecting/querying the storage.
Run "pvesm status" and note any errors. Then invoke "journalctl -n 100" and examine the messages that may be related.
Something in your setup is incorrect, more likely than not on Equallogic or network.

This is a good clue that the iSCSI configuration does not match on Target (Equalogic) and Initiator (PVE).
I'd recommend reviewing the storage vendor documentation. Perhaps there is CHAP authentication involved, or you did not configure appropriate ACL for IQN

I am almost there. I added iSCSI volume to my Proxmox cluster. I created LUN from DataCenter--->Storage--LUN from my iSCSI volume. I want to share the LUN to all of my HOSTs. I is showing one hosts but other hosts have issue. can you help me this issue? I have attached the picture

You need to perform the same troubleshooting steps you did earlier.

As mentioned previously a "?" means that PVE is unable to properly communicate with the storage. Run "pvesm status" and "journalctl -n 100" on the second node to gain more insight into what could be causing the miscommunication.

Good luck
