I've installed the virtio drivers version virtio-win-0.1.136,iso to get things going by right-clicking on each of the driverless devices in Device Manager. Some of the drivers were able to install whilst others weren't.
And then I was able to update those drivers by mounting virtio-win-0.1.173-4.iso and then double-clicking on *x64.msi and run through that installation process -- not a problem.
I was then also to install the QEMU Guest Agent as well, also no problems.
But when I tried to install the virtio-fs driver, per the instructions here; I run into the hard brick wall that apparently, the virtiofs drivers only START to become available for Windows 8, but not Windows 7 (as found in the virtio-win-0.1.187.iso (shown below):
(under the folder viofs):

Does this mean that I can't use virtio-fs under Windows 7 SP1?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
