Hello,
is remote access possible with Proxmox's virtualised gateway/router pfSense?
I would like to remotely access my home desktop Ubuntu 22.04 LTS desktop, which is running as a VM.
The VMs pfSense, Ubuntu desktop and other VMs can access the Internet.
pfSense's WAN interface seems to be different to the ISP's public WAN IP, so I'm unsure what address or configuration is needed for remote access?

Hi,

yes remote access is possible, but depends on your network configuration.

In any case I would strongly suggest to use a VPN for remote access to your VMs/CTs, in order to minimize exposure. You might want to use OpenVPN or Wireguard, just to mention some available options. Please let me refer you to the pfSense documentation for further details on how to achieve such a setup with pfSense https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/vpn/index.html
