Is it possible to install Proxmox together with Windows 10 and run both?

Hello everyone, thank you very much for accepting me on the forum. I installed Proxmox on a second disk and on the other one I have Windows 10, the problem is obvious because now I am running Windows 10, and therefore it does not run Proxmox and this is my problem.
Could someone help me on this? If there is any way to have both systems operational.
Thank you very much in advance.

All the best.

Do you mean running both at the same time? No, this won't work. Physical hardware can only run one OS at a time. Whats possible is having both installed on different disks (and maybe even on the same disk with dualboot) and then choose, when starting the computer, what of those OSs you want to use. Your UEFI/BIOS should have a key combination to enter a boot selection where you then can choose wich disk you want to boot from.

But Win is then only running using virtual hardware. Stuff like Gaming and watching Youtube/Netflix will really suck without PCI passthrough of a GPU as your Windows then can't use your graphics card. And using more demanding USB devices like external soundcards, USB disks and so on might also be a pain.

If you primarily want to use Win10 with full performance but also run some VMs, I would prefer to just run Win 10 bare metal and then use HyperV or VirtualBox on top of that for the VMs.
