Is installing on existing Jessie supported?

Hi all
I'm currently evaluating virtualisation solutions for in-house use at the company where I work. We are a financial services company and one of our clients is a major bank in my country. They have insisted that we use full disk encryption.

Based on some recommendations I saw when I Googled 'proxmox encryption', I have followed the instructions here "https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Install_Proxmox_VE_on_Debian_Jessie" and installed a standard minimal Debian Jessie with an encrypted VG, and then installed ProxMox by adding the repository and installing via apt-get.

My question is whether or not this configuration is "supported" if I'm on a subscription plan. Since the VM's are fairly crucial to our business we are planning on having access to professional support. However if the response to any support request is going to be "Sorry, we can only provide support if you've used our official Bare metal ISO installer" then that would make the whole subscription idea completely pointless for us.

Can we get support if we have have installed ProxMox like this?

Thanks
Kevin

Yes, this is fully supported.

Hi Tom
Thanks for your response.
I'll continue to experiment and evaluate.
Looking good so far.

Kevin
