Hello all,

I've installed Proxmox 8.2. After the initial install i decided to stop IPV6 via the grub loader (ipv6.disable=1 in /etc/defatult/grub).

Everything works correctly, but I am annoyed that I constantly see the following message in the logs:

Oct 03 16:40:24 pve pve-firewall[1223]: status update error: iptables_restore_cmdlist: Try `ip6tables-restore -h' or 'ip6tables-restore --help' for more information.

The reason I disabled IPv6 this way is to not load the Ipv6 module/stack at all, as I am not gonna use IPv6, I do not want to configure IPv6 firewalls, etc.

My question is, if someone figured out, how to suppress this message but still use ipv6.disable=1, please let me know.

Thank you in advance.

DOn't use default/grub.
Modify your /ertc/sysctl.conf file ( not directly, use sysctl.conf.d)
