IP/CIDR instead of ip address

hi there,
During the installation at Management Network Configuration step it shows IP/CIDR instead of iP/address and the value is the MAC address of my machine, also it did not accept Gateway or DNS Server address but accepted MAC addresses of Gateway and DNS. Can someone help me how to fix this?
At the end of the installation at Welcom screen above login promt, I see the http://mac address. instead of IP address.

Data which are occurring during the installation process are proposals based on DHCP responses. You can adapt them according to your needs. Not quite clear what you address here that is not working correctly (giving an example may help) - anyway, after installation you can adapt the setting directly by editing /etc/network/interfaces

Thanks for the help Richard. So to solve this I had to go to ISP router info and remove the DHCP reservation which I had assigned earlier for this server. After setting was removed from the ISP router, I re-installed and evertything went okay.
