Change writeback to no-cache on all your VM disks, stop the VM, then start it.
Do this on all VMs.

Once that is done run pveperf again and post the results.

Also, run this command for a little bit while you observe how your VMs are behaving:
Code:
vmstat 1
NOTE: Ctrl + C will stop this.
Also, make the putty window wide enough so the output does not line wrap.

If you were unaware, you can copy/paste the text from the Putty window, left mouse button drag to select the highlighted area is auto copied to clipboard.
Scroll back in the putty buffer and copy as much of that vmstat 1 output as you can, post it here.
It would be very helpful if you can mark on the vmstat 1 output things like "Was running ok here" or "Was super slow here" etc.

Lastly, what do these VMs do? Web servers? DB Servers? What sort of IO do they do, sequential read/write? random read/write?

Long Long time ago I assigned two sockets to a VM on a single socket machine, I remember the VM being super slow.
I noticed that the VM config you posted earlier said "sockets: 2"

Try changing all of your VMS to have one CPU not two.
You can assign multiple cores just not multiple CPUs

Please report back if that helps or not.

Long Long time ago I assigned two sockets to a VM on a single socket machine, I remember the VM being super slow.
I noticed that the VM config you posted earlier said "sockets: 2"

Try changing all of your VMS to have one CPU not two.

okay working on it now and wait my answer and thanks alot you are the best guy here ♥

Since you only have a single SATA disk you might benefit from writethrough or writeback.
Change one thing at a time so we know what does or does not help, so leave them nocache for now.

for no cache they are very slow yea io delay 0! but vms very slow

The cache from writethrough or writeback can hide or mask issues.
The vmstat issue you provided earlier shows very little disk io and no IO Wait.
The interrupts and context switches were rather high, thats why I took a 2nd look at the config you provided earlier.

I would like to know how well it performs with no cache and single socket assigned to the VM.

You only have a single SATA disk, it is not going to be super fast especially if you are doing lots of random IO.

So changing the sockets (CPU) to 1 fixed your problem?
If so, can you post some vmstat 1 output? I am quite curious to see what changed, interrupts, context switches, both.....

not io delay but its better for vms and tell me how u look on vmstat 1 what u understand from this :D?
