I am experiencing an internet connection problem with the virtual machine created on Proxmox. I have configured the machine and installed all the necessary drivers, but I still don't have an internet connection. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter.

Your PVE is routing/NATing? Because you set you PVEs local IP as the gateway for the VM so the PVE hos has to route all the traffic to the internet.
Then it would be useful to have a look at your PVEs network config: cat /etc/network/interfaces

See here for example on how to set up the PVE host to act as a router, NATing between the private IPs and public IP: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Network_Configuration#sysadmin_network_masquerading

Or alternatively, you install something like a pfsense/OPNsense VM that is doing the NAT for you and then point the gateway of all guests to that router VM.
