Hi,
here is the thing: I'ver installed proxmox 6.3 on debian buster, no big trouble a this time, except
issue 1: when i try to connect whith my actual vpn (e.g. purevpn, or expressvpn) using network-manager-openvpn and network-manager-openvpn-gnome, and the config file .ovpn, i have "connexion failed", on the other hand , if i try do it by the command line it's works, on the other hand if i disconnect it i loose all my connections, i mean by that, i cannot get my ip public back.
Issue 2 with no vpn: In /etc/network/interfaces, if i try to put vmbr0 on static mode, i have no connections at all,so, the only way to have connection for all my vms, is to put it on dhcp mode. i hope i've made myself clear. I tear my hair out on this. tell me what you need to help me.
Best regards

Using a VPN software (or even network manager) on your PVE host is probably a bad idea and won't work. A route that I've personally taken is to set up an LXC container and install the VPN software there, and then route clients traffic via the CT (with IP forwarding on the CT enabled).

Have you tried managing the network interfaces via the GUI as well? That is usually the safer way. For more help you'd have to post your current /etc/network/interfaces and describe your issues in a bit more detail.
