Hey Guys,
I have a few arch linux vms on my proxmox host that all connect to a vmbr1 device to talk with one another.
When I first set this up, a couple months ago, my arch linux guests were on kernel 4.8... the performance i was getting guest to guest in iperf was around 17 gbps.
I recently upgraded the guests one by one (all packages including kernel 4.11) after the upgrade the network performance between guests is ~2-4 gbps. They are all using virtio nics, performance gets worse if i switch to e1000. I know it was the update that caused this issue, as i could see the non upgraded guests were not affected, and the upgraded ones were.
Has anyone else experienced this?
