Hi all,
I would like to ask if Proxmox 5.0 supports IOMMU/ACS for passthrough ethernet adapters (intel XL710) when the hardware is a new Dell R740 with Xeon Gold 6126 (of course, I don't have the HW yet or I would try myself).
The new Xeon Gold family does not state VT-d support or ACS support and while VT-d/ACS seems to be a chipset feature, it is not clear if I would be able to passthrough my adapters to VMs.
So, does anyone knows about this?
Thank you,
Spiros
PS: Why Proxmox 5 does not enable iommu, when it is available? It seems to be an important feature and I guess there is no harm in enabling it.
