Intel Optane 905p vs HP EX920 for 3-node Ceph cluster?

I'm building a 3-node Proxmox HA cluster using hyper-converged Ceph for the storage. We'll be running approximately 30-40 Windows desktop VMs across the cluster.

For the Ceph drives, I was originally intending to use Intel Optane 905p PCI-E cards, purely for performance reasons.

However, they are insanely expensive - over a dollar per GB.

I saw from Anandtech that the HP EX920 SSDs are apparently very good:

And the price is much better.

What do people think in terms of these two drives?
