Intel NUC (13th Gen) - Inquiry

Good Morning Y'all!

Anyone else running NUC devices with proxmox and if so, any issues with the 13 generation for general home lab use?

Hardware considering:

1. Intel NUC13-i7 (Barebones): https://rb.gy/my0z9
2. Crucial 64GB 3200Mhz SODIMM RAM: https://rb.gy/etuid
3. Samsung 2TB 990 Pro NVMe M.2: https://rb.gy/8tk5p

Livingspace: Tiny apartment, thin walls, desiring small footprint device. (No R730s, R740s etc)

Budget: <$1000

When using these make sure to upgrade the firmware as older firmwares got a bug where the SSD will destroy itself within a few months.
And in case you want to use ZFS, better get a enterprise SSD with power-loss protection.

Thanks, i mainly do it for documenting what I have done incase I need to repeat it sometime. Making it public forces me to make sure it has base level of quality (again it helps me make sure it will be useable by me, lol). Obviously with one node you can ignore the thunderbolt and ceph stuff

Same here, my only issue has been passing the Intel Iris through to any Linux VM's (for docker) or LXC containers.
Almost all the guides don't work for Iris, which is a pain as I bought it mainly to run Plex!

I haven’t tried that, I think one of the guide implied the same modified drive needs to be installed in the LXC / VM ?
