After 2 nights of trying to fix an issue with an Intel NIC I'm totally stumped.
I have a Dell T3600 - Xeon, IOMMU enabled and working with a P2000. I've just purchased an Intel 8492MT/82546eb but can't seem to use it with Proxmox or pass it through to a guest. I also have a 82575EB that has been passed through to my Sophos without any issues, I don't know why this card is giving me such grief.
Once the card is passed through to a guest, it can no longer boot and gives the error:
LSPCI
I've followed the guide and added the correct modules and tried both all functions and single port passthrough. I'm also not seeing the device in networking for Proxmox or seeing activity lights. I've installed the card on a Windows machine and it gets traffic fine.
Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to have wasted money on a card I can no longer use.
