Intel I340 does not work

did you test latest 2.6.32-12 kernel?

we use the following ibg:

Code:
modinfo igb

 filename: /lib/modules/2.6.32-12-pve/kernel/drivers/net/igb/igb.ko
version: 3.4.7
license: GPL
description: Intel(R) Gigabit Ethernet Network Driver
author: Intel Corporation, <e1000-devel@lists.sourceforge.net>
srcversion: 84D0F70C7DF9FC65710D5E8
....

Linux 2.6.32-12-pve, this is the last one...

We have the same version?! The nic lights at start, when grub starts, lightning stop.

But, what i think that is suspicious:

eth0: negotiated 1000baseT-HD flow-control, link ok
eth1: no link
eth2: no link
eth3: no link
eth4: no link

1 - 4 is the Intel Nic, port 1 or 4 is connected. But no link is possible.

I do not know, I showed you my version, I do not know what you use. you wrote about 2.6.32-11 in the first post, so please check.

I have no such card here, so I cannot test it.

does any other Linux distro work? try with several live cd´s and if you got one running, tell details about the CD and the module used (lspci -vv).
