As the title says, I'm interested in a solution that works for transcoding on a NUC 13 , i5.
LXC or VM does not matter (As long as NFS library is working)
Having a hard time, but reading a couple of guides, all are different and most is regarding the 12th gen, which i think might work anyway.
I'm on the 6.2 kernel if that helps. Any suggestions on steps. (i've had proxmox for a couple of days, and struggling)

This works

Just replace plex with jellyfin should be similar

There is probably a bigger issue though. It doesn't appear proxmox is stable on 13th gen. Even with just proxmox installed and nothing else running the system crashes randomly once per day. You can disable C-states in the bios and it will stay up. But you go from 40w idle to 120w idle seems a little silly.

Before you get far into it I would just install proxmox all by itself then see if it stays up without crashing.

Thanks, I installed it on an old machine first, updated to 6.2 kernel, and put it back in the 13th gen PC, and It has been up for a week with no issues on stability.
My only problem is just that I cannot get NFS mounted, cannot get USB Sonoff device to work in H.A, cannot make transcoding work in Jellyfin.

This guide is good, but it contains to many questionmarks for me, (I mean some of the stuff is not explained in detail or with screenshots, so this is by far the worst&hardest learning experiance in my IT career) :D

None of this works for me, I'm still getting "This client isn't compatible with the media and the server isn't sending a compatible media format." no matter what I do. IOMMU is on, Intel drivers are installed, renderD128 does show up, GPU is added to <ID>.conf
