Instance status not updated

Hello,

Today, all of a sudden, my proxmox stopped updating its VMs running status in its "instanse tree" on the left side (sorrt, not sure what it is called correctly).
I have a mix of VMs (both Win and Lin) and LXC containers and the issue is the same for all of them - no matter if I start of stop the instance, proxmox does not update that green triangle next to the instance name.

If it was green from autostart (means - running), even if I stop the instance, it stays green anyway.
If there is none (means the instance was not running) - even if I start the instance it remains none.

At the same time if when click on that instance, in the right panel proxmox shows the real situation - either "stopped" or "running".
No other issues have been noticed so it is rather a cosmetic issue but is quite annoying,

Server time is synced and fine.
However when I try qm status <pid> - it gives me "file '/var/run/qemu-server/<pid>.pid' modified in future"

Any ideas?

This sounds very much like your system has a time issue. Do you have chrony on it? If not, you should install it.
