Hi,

in your error attachment it says "View full report". Could you attach the full report?

I can only take a screenshot, because it won't let me use commands to copy it or bring me the file via ssh

Hello and thank you for giving the solution. I ran into the same problem and setting type to host does not solve it for me.
Thanks and kind regards

I've got similar error with Ubuntu 22.04.3.

The error is below.
"CPU = host" didn't solve.

Bash:

I found this answer in Reddit and it worked for me:
  1. When creating the VM, don't add any network device
  2. Install ubuntu server
  3. Shut down the VM
  4. Edit the hardware to add a network device
  5. Start the VM and edit or create the network config file to add your NIC
  6. Test the network connection to ensure it's working
I wont't include instructions for number 5 because I used AI to help me do that and I don't understand the concepts enough to instruct others. But the AI mentioned this as a reference: https://ubuntu.com/server/docs/configuring-networks

Thank you. I was stuck during the kernel installation, and then the installer froze. I tried everything, and you solved my problem. Thank you.
