Installing over the internet not in basement

I saw proxmox video about instalation via msdos booting a physicall machine and really got the whole idea but my problem is that I want to virtalize a server I rent or hire from the internet ,so I need incentives to help me understand how to install it in a remote way because the server is in Europe and Im in America

Easiest way: choose a Proxmox VE hosting company - offering pre-installed Proxmox VE.

What Tom says would be ideal. However, I understand it may not be an option if you are locked in to a specific host right now. If you have a web panel that you administer the VM on, simply upload something like clonezilla.iso and boot the machine off that. Then basically do a dump to your local host but over the internet. Will be painfully slow but should work.

... or just give an order to your hosting company - they can install Proxmox VE for you.
