installing ceph can i use the same IP

hi all,

stupid question but what is ceph and do i need it

also the installation of ceph is asking me to enter in the IP of the cluster configuration, shall i use my existing one or make a new one for it

Can use the same one.


It's preferable to have a separate physical network but it will still work with a single physical network.
