Good afternoon, please tell me how to properly install and configure PROXMOX on the HPE DL380 Gen10 server with the HPE P816i-a RAID controller for maximum performance of virtual machines for SQL databases. The difference in performance without virtualization is twice as fast. Thank you in advance for your help

ZFS as VM storage ?
if yes, try with Lvmthin for VM storage, over RAID10 logical volume created from your HW raid.

The problem is that without virtualization the single stream write speed is 160 megabits per second, but with virtualization it is 44-65 megabits per second. I use RAID-1 on HPE P816i-a RAID with two samsung disks

I am not an expert but via trial and error I have tried all storage types with HW raid 1 and Lvmthin is the fastest with cache set to writeback. I do have a BBU for the raid card.
