It seems to be supported (but I don't own this specific GPU).Thank you for reply. It is a Radeon w5500 navi 14 which I believe is supported.
It is in various guides and the vendor-reset github site itself.I didnt notice the period. Never seen that before.
It only tells me that there was an issue, not what the issue actually was. It does refer to a log file which can help you find more information.Tried again got this which I guess is the error you are referring to?
Code:Failed command: make -j16 KERNELRELEASE=6.17.4-2-pve KDIR=/lib/modules/6.17.4-2-pve/build Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: 6.17.4-2-pve (x86_64) Consult /var/lib/dkms/vendor-reset/0.1.1/build/make.log for more information.
If you want to (re-build and) re-install the module then you need to remove it first (because the version is the same). You can find information about this on the internet (as this is not Proxmox specific). I don't remember the exact command right now, sorry. EDIT: https://askubuntu.com/questions/849547/how-do-i-uninstall-dkms-modules-if-there-are-two-of-themSo tried earlier proxmox-boot-tool kernel pin 6.17.2-1-pve running dkms install gives this
Code:Error! DKMS tree already contains: vendor-reset/0.1.1 You cannot add the same module/version combo more than once.
As far as I know, the only legal way to run Apple Mac software is to run it on Apple Mac hardware (which is rather expensive). I have no experience with virtualization of Apple Mac OS, sorry.Still got same error on boot of the big sur guest. Beginning to think it might be easier just to buy a Mac mini.
