Installer fails on Intel Modular Server MFT25

I just tried the 1.1 Installer on a MFT25 blade. But It fails to find the storage devices: sda not found.
There is no sda there as the box is carrying his own SAN.
I can install a Debian Lenny Linux easily. What's the simplest way to install VE in this case?

How does the SAN present it's self to the motherboard/bios? it's likely that it's just not were the installer thinks it should be.

You might have to install a base OS and then install proxmox onto.

Can you provide more information? What driver/module is used if you install Debian Lenny?
