Installed PVE and PBS on a server and it is now broken

Hello everyone.


Something really stupid happened to me, I installed PVE and PBS on a server. PBS was saved to a Syno via NFS.


Hardware is completely defective, the only thing I have is a PBS backup, how can I restore the VM if PVE and PBS are already reinstalled?.


There were childhood pictures of my son on my server and I don't want to lose them.

Which hardware is broken? The server or the NAS?

What exactly do you have the backup of? The node, the PBS, the VM, everything?

how can I restore the VM if PVE and PBS are already reinstalled?.

By mounting the datastore in the PBS and simply restoring it?

Or did you want to save the data from the hard drive itself that you overwrote?

Maybe you can start again from the beginning and explain to us in detail your setup, what has been backed up from where to where, what is broken and which system you have now reinstalled.

For me, your post is very confusingly written and I can't see any clear information or statements to be able to provide support here.
