Installed kernel update 6.2.16-4-pve today & misc files from the GUI - now console stops responding after connecting with Dell Enterprise iDrac 7. Console works perfectly fine before hand as normal. But as mentioned as soon i connect with the iDrac console it immediately stops responding and requires a reboot to restore functionality. When this occurs i am still able to navigate the GUI and perform backups etc.. SSH connects and appears to work properly. Trying to reboot the server from SSH doesn't do anything it requires to physically power it off and back on. NOTE - I can Cold and Hard bounce the server from the iDrac GUI.
In the past encountered a similar issue on a SuperMicro Server - resolution there was to remove all older kernels from the system - Tried the same thing on the Proxmox Back Server, unfortunately it did not resolve the issue.
Here is what i currently have on the system
root@proxmoxbackup:~# dpkg --list|grep pve-kernel
ii pve-firmware 3.7-1 all Binary firmware code for the pve-kernel
ii pve-kernel-6.2 8.0.3 all Latest Proxmox VE Kernel Image
ii pve-kernel-6.2.16-4-pve 6.2.16-5 amd64 Proxmox Kernel Image
rc pve-kernel-helper 7.3-7 all Function for various kernel maintenance tasks.
Any ideas or suggestions?
