hello we would like to perform an installation of proxmox last release on HP PROLIANT DL 380 G10 ,

we want to install Proxmox OS on Raid 1 "miroring of 2 disques" what it is the best option is it set up hardwaire Raid of HP or setup up raidz1 (ZFS) during the installation

I would do hw-raid1 using the installed P4<xy> ctrl to choose for pve inst., and after install ssacli into pve for ctrl. access without using iLo.

i think using ZFS raidz1 is better this solution is already known by proxmox and we can monitor through pool

Why ask if you think go with zfs ? Do you know the nessecery steps in sequence to change an os disk and are still be able to boot from both after ?

yeah this is a important matter reallyi don't know the steps the change an impacted disk which is belong to pool zfs raidz1

because i already tried set up raid 1 using hardware bios but during installation of proxmox it recognize the 2 disques not just a one disque "vlm"

First I strongly think you are meaning zfs mirror instead off raidz1 and second test that with a new pve installation before going into production.

The MR416i-a is a quiet good controller and should show just 1 virtual disk to pve. I think you did a mistake by creating the raid1 setup as the ctrl. send as empty disks out also. It's impossible to see configured disks outside the ctrl.
