Installation on ML350 G10

Hi
I plan to chage my customer server (ML350G8) with e new one ML350 G10. I ask to you if there is some problem with network (I read some post with network problems) or with RAID. I think to install 2 SSD RAID1 and use internal disks for OS and VM.

Hi,

which network card & disk controllers are exactly in your new system? You can also search for compatibility with Ubuntu or Debian online (Proxmox VE uses Ubuntu Kernel). If what you want is ZFS RAID then your controller should support acting as HBA only.

For Ethernet 1 GB 4 porte 369i HPE
For disk controller HPE Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10
I don't find that ubuntu work on thee controller, so I must change server probably.
I hope that some one try to install proxmox on this server and have a sure opinion of functionality.

Also these server is certified for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.6 with Kbase (includes KVM) SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 12 SP3, 12\nSP4, 15, (includes KVM)\nClearOS/ClearVM 7.6, 8.0

With RHEL and SUSE working I'd be surprised if Proxmox VE would not work, but I cannot guarantee it. Maybe HP can give you detailed information.
