Hi,
Can you please guide or provide me the complete step by step configuration of Proxmox on 4 servers with two SANs from scratch to commissioning stage.

What will be the scenario, the network requirement, ports, vlans etc.

Thanks

4 servers
not a good option, use 3 or 5 (odd number) of nodes. If two nodes fail in this setup, your cluster will have a problem, no quorum.

two SANs from scratch
Hopefully, your SANs have a proper clustering and PVE support, if not you will not have a lot of fun.

Better idea, which we did in the past:

Break up the SAN, take the disks and plug them in 3 (or 5) nodes, put CEPH on them and have tripple-redundancy.

I am CCNP and worked on Huawei Ocean Store V5300, No experience of Proxmox. I am managing Fusion compute since 2016.

How to check that our SAN support PVE.
Ask your vendor, yet I've never heard that HPE has working PVE integration and I don't think of "just FC storage", that will work nonetheless, it's Linux.
If you don't have proper vendor support, you will not have thin provisioning and snapshot capabilities. Best to buy a storage that has proper integration.

Hi @zahmad , welcome to the forum.

Asking a free, volunteer-driven community to provide zero-to-production step-by-step instructions for a commercial-grade infrastructure can sometimes lead to less-than-satisfactory results.

The topic you've raised has been discussed extensively in the forum, and there are numerous blogs, articles, and official documentation available on it. You may find it more efficient to engage a local Proxmox Solutions partner or consultant for tailored guidance.

Cheers,
