installation not possible

I try and try to reinstall proxmox ve to my intel nuc. At first I flash a stick with the Iso boot it to my nuck. Blocked.
Than I flashed a SD Card with Iso select proxmox visuell. Blocked.
Than I changed the SSD with another working one reflashed the stick. Blocked.
Than i flashed the first SSD clear with Fat32 reflashed the SD Card with the Iso. Blocked.
Than I put the SSD with a adapter to the USB 2.0 port. Blocked
Than I put in into the 3.0 USB Port. Blocked.

I have no idea what the problem of the f... nuc is.

Hi,

seems to be either a firmware or kernel bug, seems to hang when trying to access the disk.
Have you tried updating the UEFI to it's latest version? That often helps, as firmware on consumer devices is often buggy.

You can also try out the Debian 12 installer and see if that works?
If yes, you can simply Install Proxmox VE on top of Debian afterwards.
 
I gave the Nuc to a friend who also has one and couldn't install anything either. Then he lay around with me for many weeks. Last week I had some time and picked it up again and suddenly Proxmox was installed, which would never have happened. It's been running diligently for 2 weeks now. Quite strange
