Hi,

i use an ASROCK Q170M vPro Mainboard in my Server. "Only" one year after i opened a Ticket ASROCK released a better BIOS.
Before the fix (an without an trick) the ACPI Errors files syslog and my hole root-fs in 1-3 days when using Ubuntu. Now this errors are fixed inside the BIOS.

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Q170M vPro/?cat=Download&os=BIOS

So i thought i can try to Install Proxmod 5 Beta2 or the Stable 4.x.
But before the first Installer Screen i see quickly a lot of Errors. (I think ACPI*)

With both ISOs i found no way to append the grub command line with "noacpi". Is this possible ?
Oder does somebody has other hints for me.

If nessesary i can try to take a photo from the monitor, or try to save a log on USB-Stick if possible,,,

you can press 'e' on the first selection screen, then you can edit the boot parameters

Thanks, this works. But the Installer hangs at the partitioning (An i have anyway a lot of Errors an Kernel Panics).
Because i need the server urgently i had installed Ubuntu-Server again, an LXC hand-installed. I would like Proxmox more. But if the Ubuntu solution works good enough for me, i will keep them.
