[SOLVED] installation location on mini pc

Good afternoon,
I'm looking to purchase a Beelink Mini S12 pro to have a small proxmox setup, mainly to migrate my Home Assistant and VPN that are currently running on two Raspberry pi's. My HA Rpi is slowly giving up on me.

The mini s12 has a m.2 2280 ssd installed and also has option to add a 2.5'' ssd which i have a spare one to add.

My question is where is it best to install proxmox, on the m.2 or 2.5''?

Hi, the Proxmox host does not have particular performance requirements and it does not need a lot of I/O performance itself. Therefore, it would make sense to use the higher-performance disk as storage for virtual machines, as they will definitely benefit from it.
