I tried to install Proxmox VE 1.5 on a Core 2 quad computer with 2 hard disks but it failed 3 times. When I looked at the file systems of those 2 hard drives, it shows LVM2 with the first HD showing as bootable. But when I reboot, nothing shows up...

If the installer detected that there are 2 or more hard disks on a computer, the installer should automatically create one volume group and include all those hard disks under that group. Given proper programming, when it reboots, the installation would proceed as normal.

Why does it fail? maybe you just need to modify the bios boot order?

I don't think that is a good idea.

I did modify the bios boot order to the supposedly correct one (the harddisk which says bootable), it just fails...

But when I installed it to only one hard disk, it's ok.
