I'm trying to install 9.2-1. I've:

Code:
sudo cmp -n $(stat -c '%s' path/to/proxmox.iso) path/to/proxmox.iso /dev/sdX

Where sdX is the bootable Proxmox SD card.

This command returned no errors.

When I try installing Proxmox, it gives me:

"Installation of package <some deb package> failed."

Where <some deb package> is a different deb package every time I try installing. If I look at the verbose output, I see:

lzma error: compressed data is corrupt.

I've tried installing 3 times now. What could be going on?

I'm about to do a memtest but I think it's fine because I've installed Ubuntu and W11 in the past without issue.

The .iso checksum checks out.

EDIT: So I got it installed successfully. On the fourth attempt, it got stuck on pve-firmware_3.18.3_all.deb which it failed on a few attempts back. This time it pushed through.

Since the installation failed on a different package each time but eventually succeeded, it may indicate an intermittent hardware issue rather than a corrupted ISO file.
