installation error at 100% . include 7.1 and 7.0 . Failed in make system bootable.

sorry. my english is not good.
i install pve 7.1/7.0 with ISO in USB.
allways failed prepare efi boot using grub..... nvme0n1p2.

M2 samsung 980nvme 500g
no hdd by now


pve can not install to nvme?
but i try to install to a sata ssd, is same too.

A good way to approach this problem is to try to install a bare Debian onto the NVME-SSD. Sometimes, this depends on the motherboard. Have you enabled the right boot order? Cheers!

I noticed that a friend of this forum had the same problem when installing PVE using dell poweredge. His solution is to cancel all boot options and only keep USB as the only boot.
I also referred to this method to try to install, but it didn't solve it.


It now appears that you can only try to install a bare Debian 11 and then install the PVE package. The last way I can think of.
